Nationalpark Neusiedler See – Seewinkel, 2023
The six national parks are internationally recognized protected areas and rank among the most ecologically valuable natural landscapes in Austria. In 2023, Nationalparks Austria called for the ninth time for creative talents to engage with the natural heritage in a deeply personal way during a scholarship program.
Die sechs Nationalparks zählen als international anerkannte Schutzgebiete zu den ökologisch wertvollsten Naturräumen des Landes Österreichs. 2023 suchte Nationalparks Austria zum neunten Mal kreative Talente, die sich während eines Stipendiums mit dem Naturerbe auf ganz persönliche Art und Weise auseinandersetzen.
As a fortunate scholarship recipient, I explored the theme of “interconnectedness” through photography in Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park, capturing connections, atmosphere, emotions, and the small details within the bigger picture. Photography thus became a link and a network partner between humans and nature – a small contribution to preserving the diversity and richness of this fragile and valuable ecosystem.
Als glückliche Stipendiatin habe ich unter dem Thema „Vernetzung“ fotografisch im Nationalpark Neusiedler See – Seewinkel Verbindungen, Atmosphäre, Emotionen und die kleinen Details im großen Bild eingefangen. Fotografie wurde so zu Bindeglied und Netzwerkpartnerin zwischen Mensch und Natur. Ein kleiner Beitrag zum Erhalt der Vielfalt und Diversität im fragilen und schützenswerten Ökosystem.
In 2026, the photo book „WEITE“ will be published in collaboration with Neusiedler See – Seewinkel National Park. The 100-page book will be available, among other places, at the National Park Center in Illmitz.
2026 erscheint der Bildband „WEITE“ in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Nationalpark Neusiedler See – Seewinkel. Das 100-seitige Buch wird unter anderem im Nationalparkzentrum in Illmitz erhältlich sein.
