Relocated (Future Perfect)

This landscape no longer knows a shoreline.
It is neither transition nor boundary. Jagged, suspended, without above or below. Surfaces fractured, condensed, driven apart. In between: particles, traces, remnants – no longer assignable, neither natural nor made.
Time has sedimented itself, in layers that shift and bleed into one another. What once was structure has become fragment. What once carried meaning has dissolved into form and light. A memory without origin.
There is no horizon anymore.
Diese Landschaft kennt keine Küstenlinie mehr.
Sie ist weder Übergang noch Grenze. Zerklüftet, schwebend, ohne oben und unten. Flächen aufgebrochen, verdichtet, auseinandergetrieben. Dazwischen Partikel, Spuren, Reste – nicht eindeutig zuzuordnen, weder natürlich noch gemacht.
Zeit hat sich abgelagert. In Schichten, die sich verschieben und ineinander übergehen. Was einmal Struktur war, ist Fragment. Was Bedeutung trug, ist zu Form und Licht zerfallen. Eine Erinnerung ohne Ursprung.
Es gibt keinen Horizont mehr.

In June 2026, my projects Relocated (Present) and Relocated (Future Perfect) were exhibited as part of a group exhibition by the IAPh at the horizonte environmental photography festival in Zingst.
Im Juni 2026 wurden meine Projekte „Relocated (Present)“ und „Relocated (Future Perfect)“ als Teil einer Gruppenausstellung der IAPh auf dem horizonte Umweltfotografiefestival in Zingst ausgestellt.
